We are now seeking an ambitious account director with experience in corporate and product PR to join our office in High Wycombe.

Job Outline

  • To lead the PR implementation on key accounts

Experience & Competencies

  • At least five years PR experience, with at least three years in healthcare
  • Substantial experience within that time of dealing directly with the media
  • Ability to drive solutions
  • Ability to travel, particularly to mainland Europe
  • Strong oral & written communication skills
  • Willingness to work unsocial hours, if required
  • Good self starter
  • Natural organiser

Responsibilities

Internal to Tudor Reilly

  • To manage the junior members of the team and check delivery of day-to-day activities
  • To oversee scheduling of all client work, in co-ordination with the CEO
  • To ensure adequate human resources are available to meet client requirements
  • To recruit, train, develop and appraise Account Managers and Executives
  • To monitor the quality of client work in Tudor Reilly
  • To hold regular sales and management meetings

Responsibilities

Client

  • To keep client presentation materials and any case studies up-to-date
  • To work on proposals in conjunction with the CEO
  • To define client requirements in a proposal and subsequently in a contract
  • To brief team members and others, as required, on exact client requirements
  • Devising initial research to inform PR strategy
  • Providing strategic counsel to senior management of client companies
  • Writing copy for websites, press releases, backgrounders
  • Selling in to trade, consumer and business media
  • Writing corporate presentations
  • Supporting clients at trade conferences
  • To monitor all projects to ensure client satisfaction
  • To develop strong client relationships
  • To seek account development opportunities for client & Tudor Reilly

Responsibilities

Special Projects/Change

  • To remain up-to-date with new developments in the pharmaceutical sector and their application to Tudor Reilly
  • To work closely with the CEO to identify areas of opportunity for Tudor Reilly

Responsibilities

Financial

  • To ensure financial objectives are achieved; including revenue, costs and margin targets
  • To monitor each account handler and each account to maintain margins
  • To monitor and control project costs and overall company costs
  • To assist the book keeper in securing satisfactory payment of invoices
