Julie Walters

Julie provides senior counsel to many of our clients as they progress from entrepreneurial start-ups to fully-integrated pharmaceutical companies.

She has over 20 years of experience in journalism and consultancy and a first-class degree in Molecular Genetics from King’s College London. She also remains a director of Media Speak, a training consultancy she co-founded in 2000. Julie is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and the International Association of Business Communicators.

Before establishing the company in September 2000, Julie's career as a television reporter and news editor with TV-am, Good Morning Television (GMTV) and Reuters led her to cover national and international stories, from consumer battles with Britain's high street banks to the 1991 Gulf War, where she was one of the first journalists to enter Kuwait after liberation.

Her career began at The West Australian newspaper in Perth, before she moved to Britain in 1988 to fulfill a dream to work on Fleet Street.

Peter Coë

Peter advises clients on story-shaping and relations with investors and analysts. Over the past 10 years, he was worked with thousands of business leaders in some of the world’s biggest pharmaceutical companies, including Roche, GSK and AstraZeneca, as well as many smaller drug development and discovery companies, both listed and private equity companies.

His experience is based on 20 years in the news media as a lead anchor for the BBC and as a business correspondent for the BBC, ITV and Sky News in the UK.

After winning a journalism scholarship to Washington DC with the US news agency, UPI, he returned to Britain in 1983 to jointly-devise and present Money Matters, Britain's first daily TV slot for market and business news for breakfast TV station, TV-am.

After a year at Sky News as business correspondent he moved to the BBC in a similar role and later served as a business and general news presenter for BBC News 24 and BBC World.

Jane Eckels

Jane runs the US operation for Tudor Reilly from San Francisco in California. Jane has more than 25 years of communications experience in the United States and Europe, including leadership roles with some of the world’s biggest PR companies as Senior Vice President with Manning Selvage & Lee in San Francisco and a similar role at Ketchum in San Francisco.

In Europe, Jane worked for PR firm Burson-Marsteller, spearheading a number of pan-European healthcare and public affairs accounts.

Jane’s diversified background includes journalism, management and teaching.

Michele Parisi

Michele has more than 13 years experience in healthcare PR. Until recently, Michele served as a Senior Vice President and Director of Manning Selvage & Lee's West Coast healthcare practice, providing communications consulting services to clients including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, device and diagnostic companies.
